    Hi Matthew,

Really hope you receive this message. I just watched your “core confidence” video where you talk about the Ready for Love show and how you spent a year on the show, but it was a commercial failure.

I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that is the show where I was first introduced to your work, and I’ve been reading and watching your work ever since—it has completely changed my life! I am in an incredibly happy long-term relationship with a wonderful man, thanks in large part to following your advice. That show helped expose you to such a large American audience and allowed you to reach so many people who might otherwise have never found you, myself included. Just wanted to share that perspective, and I sure am grateful for those three episodes!

Not only can we have core confidence despite our “failures,” sometimes we can be blind to the wonderful silver linings in these life detours.

Thank you so, so much for all your advice over the years.

hahaha, nr 2 is my favorite! :D

  3. Liz says:

I really like how you put in there to use them on the guy that is actually talking to you and not one that has gone cold!!! Makes a big difference, if he’s gone cold there’s not much you can do to bring him back out and you don’t really want to pursue the cold guy either, it just ends up feeling terrible.

  4. Liana S. Ibarra says:

I wud like to know what the three playful texts are.

  5. CasaBanana says:

Please, for the love of God, define the man who’s “gone cold and isn’t investing.” I’m having a hard time discerning this finer point.

    Thank you!

  6. Faizah says:

The first one is my favorite. Even though I’m planning to use all three!! ;)

  7. Luky Cawarra says:

Ok Matthew, I Need your help. ..my x-boyfriend and I are going on 9mths of being x’s. We keep texting and sometimes even call, the longest we’ve gone without any communication is 4days, never longer then that. My concern is now I believe he may be in a new relationship however when I ask him he says no or will give me a “wtf” ..I’ve tried telling him that if he is I don’t wanna cause problems for them but he keeps in texting and of course I want to be back with him. What do I do :(

  9. Julie MacKenzie says:

    Love the video…

  10. Sarah says:

Love!! Thanks Matt!! These are Perfect!!

  11. Egle says:

    First?!?! Yay!

I love when you teach us about being playfully demanding. I didn’t even know that was a thing until I found you.

  12. Jessica says:

I feel like I’m the problem I tried my best to be open with guys that I like. I feel like nothing is working I always pick the one guy or they end up being attracted to my sister. It’s just not fair especially when I try put myself out there. I don’t what to do but give up and just runaway. It hurts a lot when the guy that I think that likes me ends up using me at the end. My own two sisters have someone for themselves and I just feel like I’m worthless to people. I can’t even get a guy to talk to me or even look at me. I just get the look like I’m disgusting so I just keep quiet and keep to myself.
