Many women struggle to meet guys as they simply don’t know the best places to meet men, or at least their type of guy anyway.
Finding the kind of man you want in your life does not have to be a blind search. Instead think about what kind of man you want to meet and adjust your search to the places you’re most likely to find the kind of single men that interest you.
1. Evening classes
Not only are evening classes are great way for you to enrich your social and intellectual life, its also a great way to meet men that have similar interests as you and especially helpful if you want to meet a man who is not just focused on his work.
It also provides a natural and easy opener when starting a conversation as you can start by talking about the subject you are both studying.
2. Bars
Bars can be a great place to meet men as they provide a relaxed atmosphere in which to strike up a conversation.
However if you’re looking for a man genuinely interested in something long term I would avoid going out late in the evening when both parties will be likely to have had to much to drink and end up with one thing on their mind.
Instead go out for a quick drink after work and if you meet someone you like end the night early by arranging to meet another time.
If you are particularly interested in meeting wealthy city workers hanging out in a bar in the densest part of your city around the end of office hours is a great place to meet men as they unwind from a day at work.
3. Bookstores
Bookstores are a great and romantic place to meet men and you can easily narrow down your search for a guy with the same interests as you by going to type specific bookstores or approaching men browsing literature in your favourite section.
Bookstores, like evening classes, are one of the best places to meet men as you can strike up a conversation about the literature you are both looking at. Talking about a subject you are passionate about will beat the usual small talk every time.
4. Work
If you can get past the office gossip, work can be a good place to meet men especially if you are looking for a man on the same intellectual level as you.
The office can be an especially great place to meet men if you are a career minded woman who wants to meet a man who’s work is as important to him as it is to you.
Work provides plenty of opportunities to meet men but be careful to find someone you do not work with on a direct and constant basis as this can cause problems, instead maybe look to a different department for a date!
5. At the Gym
Women can often be wary of meeting guys at the gym as they may not feel they are looking their best but the gym is a great place to strike up a connection based on conversation, not on whether your hair and make up is perfect. Again you have a common interest, exercise, and can ask advice on using the equipment or swap workout tips. Although it may not seem like the obvious choice, the gym can be a good a place of any to meet men.
