Hi Matt … WOW! WOW! WOW! Incredible news … totally made up for you! My passion is interior design and I will continue to dig deep (hmmm bit of a summer break) to get this last module finished to get my degree – distance learning whilst working not the easiest thing but hey if you want something badly then you put in the work! Very ably illustrated by the (well deserved) success in your life … Many congratulations (and tickles on the arm ;o)) Jx

    Hi Matt!

First, I want to say congratulations on your amazing new projects! Second, I want to say thank you for your amazing advice. I am a single lady in a wheelchair and even though my physical challenge might lower my prospective dates, your flirting techniques totally work! It’s been fun practicing ; )

My passion is my photography. I live for it. Once I started looking through a lens, its hard to see life any other way. My marriage failure last year forced me to sell a lot of my equipment to make ends meet, but now I have a new job and I am rebuilding on a stronger foundation. I know you can appreciate that because that is what you teach! You teach us how to lay a solid foundation to build something strong and lasting.

Thank you for all you do!

Matt, this is great! You’re a beautiful soul and we all wish you well AND now we get to see more of you :)

You’re going to be absolutely famous, but your work is far from over yet… in five years you’ll be touching down in Sydney Australia… either that or we’ll all be crashing your wedding to Eva Longoria… (is she single?! you’d be a perfect match).

I’m so glad I stumbled across your youtube videos. After every door being closed to me and then recently being diagnosed with MS, your talks and your practical advice are helping me back to the basics, hospitality to strangers and simply learning to love again.

My passion at the moment is promoting vocations. I wish I could combine your practical advice with to help all my single ‘brothers & sisters’ out there get started.

In the meantime, today I’ll start by spreading the word about you…

  26. olivia says:

HOLY CRAP! that’s amazing Matt!!! congratz!

What I’m working towards right now is trying to find the thing that I can be passionate about. Sometimes I wonder if any of the things we do matter? We get up go through the motions of our everyday routines go to bed and do it all over again and for what? My feelings of indifference towards life scares me, and I want to enjoy my life, want to find love, be comfortable in my own skin and truly spend every second doing something amazing. But right now I feel stuck, incapable of finding or having a passion so I guess my goal is to keep trying new things until I find something I’m passionate about.

  27. Emmie says:

Congratulations, and good luck! I am currently in a position that is not my passion – it definitely is a drain. However, it is giving me a good opportunity to work on mental toughness and choosing happinesss whereever you are. I’m holding on patiently and working towards getting in a position to help Wounded Warriors and other Veterans use education to move forward in life after the military. I’m passionate about education and the opportunities it opens up for people. Funny enough – this is similar to my relationship life. May have to make some radical changes to achieve success in both areas. Thanks for your enthusiasm. You are a breath of fresh air and so spot on with your advice.

  28. Helen B says:

Matthew you are quite the inspiration, Congratulations.

I came to one of your talks a couple of years back in that time I have been doing a lot of self improvement mentally and physically. I am starting to like what I see in the mirror.

Part of that improvement has been about digging deep and finding my passions. It is a slow process but I know it will be worth it one day when I can engage those passions on a daily basis.

My big love for the record is Cinema I have always dreamt of working in that industry one way or another and I know I can find a route in. A millimetre at a time.

  29. kobbs says:

    Congratulations Matthew!
I lived in Los Angeles County for a few years and spent some time in the film industry. I loved the feeling of working on a studio set. A personality like yours will go far and I’m sure you’ll bring some joy to the city.
I’d be honored to take you out to tea next time I am in town!

    Grace and Peace ~

So that is what Im passionate about now and I know this is right as I feel myself get so excited about it in the pit of my stomach when I think about it. So Im back on track and I know if I can help even one person then its been worth it.

You are right here in my ‘hood’ ie Hollywood!

  38. Marie-antonine Woutaz says:

Congratulations Matthew. I am so happy for you. You deserve it!!!
My passion? you know it already: dancing Argentine tango and Djing at big international events and marathons. I ‘ve made it for “Danubiando”, a huge tango festival in Budapest at the end of August/beginning of September where I can DJ and make people dance and have fun. For me it is also a great opportunity to traval, meet new people, experience the best dancers and keep on learning … I have been passionate for tango for 17 years and I am still excited about it and am still learninga and having new experiences. It is also a great opportunity to socialize. And since my love life is now the priority, I will keep on improving my “social muscles” ;-) Take care

  39. ZA says:

    Congratulations Matt.

I’ve loved all your videos and always look forward to the new ones.I wish you the best of luck with them. I’ve used some of your advice although alcohol combined with a dis-engaged brain resulted in the opening line of “you traitor !”. It did elicit a surprised response and a follow up!

Regarding you question about what I’m working on / passionate about, currently I have several projects I’m trying to work towards.

The first is career orientated and I’m trying to register for a course to advance my career in medical research although I’m reliant on the boss OKing this.

Second is addressing health & sanity. I started karate about a year and a half ago and the aim is achieve black belt as fast as possible and try and do well at the next competition.

Finally relationship & social, although fairly new am trying to make it work by making it more fun and understanding but as they say it takes two to tango. However I’m hoping the fast track course will help with some of the neurotic tendencies. However to ease the pressure I am simultaneously increasing my social involvements by registering for various short courses e.g. pottery to try out new things and meet more people.

well there’s no point limiting yourself is there!!!

Right enough about me, once again I’d like to say congratulations keep up all the good work and enthusiasm. Can’t wait for the new videos

  40. Rogenna says:

I’m working towards preparation to apply for a PhD in Health Psychology with a back up in Clinical Psychology. My passion is to continue my work in helping underserved populations such as children, elderly & non insured.

My other passion is to continue to grow personally and spiritually.

  41. Jacqueline du Plessis says:

Loved the email, loved the video and love you, Matthew.
Your sincerity really shines through as you speak.

I’m sure everyone watching this video felt like you were personally talking to them – I know I did, thank you!

I’m a “dream chaser” too. I find purpose in going after my dreams and goals and using my talents and inspiring others to live theirs. Thanks for being that for me :)

Right now I’m working on starting my own business and working more on my music. Im also living in Hawaii for the summer before moving down south, back to South Africa (after 9 years of chasing my dreams in the US).

  42. Jana says:

    Hi Matthew!
Congratulations!!!!That is great news!!!Wishing you lots of success with the show ( which I am sure it will be) and lots more excited fans!:-)))Matthew RULEZ!!!!:-))))
btw. what I would like to do with my life?Hm, apply for and pass the surgery certificate ( I’m a vet) and do a home design course, and conquer my fears and learn how to scuba dive (I’m still not decided if to be or not to be a marine biologist :-D)

  43. oma says:

    am so happy 4 u n really can’t wait 4 it to start…u r the best n u deserve it

  44. Tanja says:

    Hi Matthew.
I’m so excited for you and for all that is happening to you.
What excites me the most is to paint, strong, powerful paintings. I’m not very good at it yet, but step by step, with daily milimeters shifts:) I’m getting small good things that pushes me forward. Thanks to your advices too!
Good luck in all your work!

P.S….and where will we be in five years time – It’s just amazing to imagine it :D

  45. Christie says:

Your mother raised a good man,I know this because I also have a good son,and I see similar qualities. The one concern I constantly have on my mind when he has a new achievement is that he continues to stay humble in it all….. so,Congratulations, and CONTINUE TO STAY HUMBLE in it all. Because that is your best quality too.

  46. ZuZu says:

Matt!! You’re SO AMAZING!! Congratulations a hundred times over! I’m in the US and can’t wait to see you in this… AND can’t wait to see where you go from here. :D

Oh, and to answer your question my passion project is ending atrocities by waging fun on them for profit.

  47. Roberta says:

Usually I am not the ‘commenting- kinda person’ on websites, but somehow this time I feel that I WOULD LOVE to express my feelings, the way that I am very happy for you and wish you all and only the best! Congratulations Matt! You totally deserved it! I mean, I discovered you, only, like 5-6 weeks ago and subscribed to your newsletter, but the way you are so passionate about what you are doing in your life, and your videos and letters and the way you put everything into places, just inspires me, and not only to meet new guys but also I found that your advice is wonderful and applicable in other areas of life :)
So, thank YOU for being here, for all of us, we love you because you love the things you do and… well.. I guess you love us all in some way :) Once again, I wish all the best, and maybe one day I hope I will come to your seminars.

  48. Lindsay says:

    Hi Matthew,

Congratulations! Hard work really pays of and I wish you all the best in your career & life! Keep up the good work.

I am making my second mindmap to visualize & create the job I want to have in the future combining it my following passion(s)and/or the things I like doing: travelling, listening to music, dancing, helping others, planning & organizing.

  49. Sarah says:

Wow! This video is really inspiring, it made me comment for the first time though I’ve already been a subscriber to your newsletter and to your fast track to mr. right. :) I’m truly inspired by the value that you add and for the passion you’ve got for what you do. A lot of people don’t pursue the things that they’re most passionate about for so many reasons and I also ask myself the same thing over and again – what am I truly passionate about that I would always be excited to work and live on. I’m very happy with my career but I would really love to go back to being an entrepreneur. I guess I’m stuck within my comfort zone but with your advice to take those millimeter shifts I can propel that confidence again to be back to where I really want to be.
I’m so happy to hear the good news about your dreams coming to reality. News like these are always amazing to share and be grateful for. It’s something to celebrate! Wish you more success in pursuing your goals. :) For me, I really have to practice what I’ve learned from you in my love life and I’m excited! :)
    Thank you so much!

  50. G says:

Oh Matthew thank u ! well actually in order to go behind a dream i need to have one but wow i think that s the most complicate part as the second part is to work on it :D
Really adore ur spirit want to have it as contagious as posible! :P!

  51. Sharon says:

So exciting- Congrats!!! I live in Boston, MA, USA and I can’t wait for it to air!

  52. Jenifer says:

    Dear Matt,
Wow you have read my heart. I cannot say enough how proud I am of you and the work you are doing. I am part of your video 200. What I love most about you Matt is your heart, honesty, your self- espression, and enthusiasm for life and making a difference. Kudos to your continued accomplishments.

Of course I am in the LA area and so excited that you are here! Even if your living out of a hotel for awhile, I hope you are having a wonderful visit. I know eventually I will meet you given you are meeting with the 200 at some point, but I would like to extend the offer if you need anything or would like a tour guide. I am happy to help.

In answer to your question…I am working on 4 things that i am very passionate about: 1. I am in the entertainment industry and work for one of the major studios in addition I am also a talent. One of many talents I have is being a voice-over actress and I am at the tipping point of landing new representation and working towards a series myself.

In addition,I have been on-air as a radio talent for 14 years and I am working on a project called Kapitalize…a play on my last name. It is about The show is about acclaimed luminaries in the fields of music, entertainment, and politics transcending the personal and professional gap in their lives. These individuals have been unstoppable in their achievements of success through integrity, gratitude, humility, and optimism.

And of course 3rd…working on myslef to becoming a better me.

    And 4th…Getting my Mr. Right!

Have a wonderful day Matthew and break a leg! I know you will shine boldly! Congrats!!!

  53. Rachel says:

That is so cool, well done. My passion project is writing my novel, which think I have a hot topic for no-one else has done YET – just gotta do it!

  56. Alexandra Bonnett says:

Congrats Matthew! My passion is music. I would absolutely love to sing, entertain and write songs for a living. So I have, over the passed year, started uploading some covers and original songs to youtube. Not too many people, other than friends, watching yet but your advice has made me feel more optimistic. I may even start busking hahaha

  57. Elle J says:

    Congratulations, Matt!! ,

  58. monique says:

    Hello Matt,

    -It is great to hear that you succeed. This help us to know to keep moving /the steps need to be taken, even the small ones;

  59. Ximena says:

Life is not worth living if you are not passionate about simple things, like cooking, sports, languages, travel, people, nature, music, etc.
Always be passionate about life in general and the most important thing is to think positive, be grateful for what you have and never take the things or people for granted.
    Good Luck to all :)

P.S: apologies for my english, I am a native spanish speaker!

  60. Meghan McInerney says:

Hey Matthew! Thank you for EVERY THING you do! I love seeing your videos! CONGRATULATIONS on everything you have been doing and welcome to the states!!!:) If you’ve been here before, welcome back!!:-D I’m incredibly excited you asked that question!!………….

The passion goal I’m working towards right now (whether it be praying about it, seeking things to do about it, or practicing) (ultimate life goal) is to use dance (and some music possibly) as awareness (for the community/world) and therapy for human sex trafficking victims and all for the glory of Jesus Christ!!:-D

  61. Ari says:

Wow. Matt’s “movin’ on up!…to the East siiiide….To a Deluxe Apartment in the skyyyyyyyyy”…… Glad you’re in our crazyland america. One day I will come see you in NYC and stop to hug u…and maybe even a lil peck on the face….

  62. Emilie says:

Wahoo! Matthew, I’ve been following you for about 4 years now, ever since hearing your interview on Pickup Podcast a ways back. You’re such an inspiration, and I’ve learned so much from you over the years. So first off, thank you!

You’re going to kick ASS here in the US, and I can’t wait to watch your new show.

Now, the project that I’m excited about? My business Puttylike.

Every day I work on helping more multipotentialites and growing the organization. My latest project is public speaking, which I know you’re quite adept at. It’s a big challenge for me though, but I just booked a room for my first seminar in September and I’ve been prancing around my office, rehearsing my speech to my new puppy, and jotting down notes on my white board. It feels amazing.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  63. Carla says:

If I were to bump into you on the street, I would totally respect your privacy and treat you with the respect of a stranger (with kindness) but NOT point out that I know who you are. That may sound strange, but with the upcoming explosion, you may wish that on any given day. Wishing you all of the best – THANK YOU for being thankful. That is the best place to be and the reason you have integrity…

  64. Amandyne says:

This is so exciting! I am so so happy for you, you deserve it so much! I 5 years from now you’re gonna rock the world! :-) keep going and we are all behind you to support you because what you have to offer is AMAZINGLY valuable. Congratulations Matt!

  65. Stephanie says:

    Hi Matthew,

I agree with you that it is important to try and keep working towards what you are passionate about. In September I will moving to the UK (from Republic of Ireland) to start a PhD in biomedical research with a pretty handsome scholarship fund to live on. As you can imagine I am incredibly excited but it took a lot of hard work , in my degree and outside experience in labs to get here. My dream one day is to one day run my own lab. It is a long way off but I am 22 and I am making the first few steps. I think you have to keep the belief not only it is possible but that you are worthy of these big goals. Well done on what you have achieved, and I hope to keep following you and I will also achieve my dream of finding a guy who loves me for everything that I am and who I love just as much.
    Well deserved x

  66. An says:

Oh. My. God! HELL YES!!! This is going to be amazing! Your advice has helped me so much, and not just in the relationship arena. I’m deeply grateful for your work, and very happy this is happening for you (and us!)

    • An says:

Oh, yeah! The question of the day! :P What I”m working for right now is no less than a complete trajectory shift in my career path. I’m choosing for the first time to follow something I’m interested in, instead of accepting whatever came my way, even if I didn’t like it. For me, this means going back to school, which is a big commitment in time and money. But you know what? It’s worth it. I realized that before I could be any good to a guy, or have the pride in myself to choose the type of guy I really like, I had to be able to look at my life without regret, self pity, or dissatisfaction. I’m so excited to be making this happen!

  67. Allie says:

Congratulations, Matt!! It is very well deserved!!

  68. Jackie says:

Hi! Congratulations!! I just love your energy…you seem so genuine! I love it! Best of luck in this new adventure…

My passion is to find freedom to live life…and I would like to help others find that freedom too. But it seems that my real priority is to find a partner…which is proven to be painful and frustrating…. so wish me luck as I find freedom to live life as a single without feeling distracted by being alone in a world of couples! : )

    Hi Matt

I’m glad I bumped in to you at UPW and look forward to seeing you at your weekend at the end of July. This is a brilliant opportunity for you and it’s great when hard work and determination pay off.

My passion is coaching people. Helping people to grow and develop is the best ‘work’ I could think of. I packed in my old career in December to do this and while I’m sure lots of people thought I was mad, I’ve never doubted it’s the right thing.

Best wishes for your new venture. X

  82. Sofia Miryam says:

    Congratulations Matthew!!!
I am sooooo proud of you! You truly deserve it!

Haha, these past two years (but much more intensely ever since I finally got access to The Man Myth a couple of days ago) I´ve been listening to the sound of your voice so much I feel like you´re a close friend! :D
I´m so happy that things are going so incredibly well for you!
And I´m so inspired by your humility, you keep the perfect balance of being proud of yourself and being humble about it! Truly inspiring!

As to you question: I´m super excited about becoming all the things I didn´t even dare to dream about becoming in the past! My mentor has been pushing me and inspiring me, but you have also been a HUGE part of it! Thanks to both of you I´m taking charge of my body, I´ve lost over 50 lbs the healthy way, I´m learning to keep it off with exercise and continuing a healthy diet. Even though you only mention it here and there and hardly ever go in deep on it, you have definitely inspired me in this area as well! I´m also taking charge of my time, getting up early in the morning (something I never thought I´d do, my excuse was always “I´m just not a morning person, it runs in my family, we´re night people”), as if that´s a valid excuse! I´m also learning to be productive, instead of finding an excuse not to do it, I´m getting in the habit of dealing with it asap!
I picked up a quote, can´t remember from who, but it goes “Laziness is the habit of resting before you´re tired”, and it really hit me straight in the face, we earn our rest, and the price of laziness is regret, while the price of productivity is the satisfaction of a job well done.
All of these things are giving me such a boost!
I´m getting so much more done, and there´s an “I´ll show them what I can do” attitude towards family and friends who don´t believe in my ability to change, I´m 19 years old for crying out loud, if a woman in her mid 40´s can change, than I certainly can! And 20 years from now I won´t be regretting what I could have done, I´ll be proud of what I did do! A feeling that I´m looking forward to!

I have a burden to teach other young women that it can be done!
Even with a family that thinks you can´t do it, it can be done, it´s all up to us! At the end of the day, we are the ones in charge, we can´t blame the things we didn´t do on others disbelief, only our own!
Young women (I don´t like the word teenager) are being told to be proud of themselves, confident and go get what they want in life, but the reality is that we are being told one thing, but shown another. Magazines, TV, blogs and celebrities are telling us these things, without (except for a few exceptions like yourself) EMPOWERING us to make it a reality!
YOU are making it a reality for SO many by empowering us and teaching us! I am not the same woman I was two years ago, today I´m proud of myself, a feeling I´d barely known before!
I am forever thankful for stumbling across one of your videos while getting lost in the meaningless youtube jungle, among all that junk, I found a piece of gold!

Keep up the amazing work Matthew!

    Lots of blessings,
    Sofia Miryam

    • Karen says:

I’m 20 and I totally second everything you just said! (even stumbled among Matthews videos through youtube too!) Good for you! and thank you for everything Matthew!

My passion is international relations, which fascinates me by how human beings work and co-relate (relationships of any type). I want to make a difference in the world giving, sharing my thoughts, and well I still have a long way to go but I wish to help countries with problems like Congo does with the mineral they use for cellphones that has caused a major war, or animal conservation as well. I enjoy art and photography so hopefully the’ll all combine in the future some day!

Greatly done Matt for speaking out loud and reflecting with your videos, that’s what makes a difference in the world, thank you for your millimeter shifts, best of luck!

  89. Ana says:

First of all Matt congrats! Your energy truly is contagious and you will keep going with much more success.

Answering you question, this may sound very silly or not important for some, but I’m speaking with my heart. I have been struggling with weight all my life, even when I have diet and lost all the pounds I was supposed to, I don’t feel confident enough and obviously that reflects instantly in my relationships, I have been cheated many times, have been heartbroken many times as well, this was a vicious circle that imprisoned me.

Right now and thanks to your program and videos, among some literature I have found. I have discovered the tremendous opportunity I have to change that, that is actually NEVER TOO LATE and as you say, it comes from within and from a deep commitment and daily changes.

I’m confident enough to say that in a year from now I will be posting my success history and all the wonderful things I’ll achive.
    Thank You!

    Ana (Mexico)

  94. Shelly says:

My passion project, which is in process but will take a while, is giving up the life I’ve built here in the US to move to Africa and volunteer full-time in wildlife conservation. Definitely makes finding a man difficult but if I have to choose between love and this I’ll take this. Hopefully I can find someone who feels as passionate about conservation as I do, I have a feeling they’re waiting for me – wherever I’m meant to be in Africa.

    • siobhan says:
