She Calls Me Out On National TV, But Watch What Happens Next

Last year I found myself on camera for a TV show – on one of the biggest stages I’d ever been on – in front of a live studio audience…

This clip is going to ‘inoculate’ you for life and have you ready should anyone ever try to embarrass you in front of others.

As a compliment to this video, get the guide that everyone’s been going crazy about…

  • Thank you Matt for the lesson, it was very helpful on how to deal with confrontations. I hope, i always remember to handle unpleasant situations in a dignified manner. Much appreciation :)

  • I enjoyed that you showed the effectiveness through real experience.
Yes, these kind of demonstrations are encouraged. :0)

  • I really enjoyed today’s lesson. We all have to deal with conflict resolution and I know these tips will help me handle these situations more effectively and gracefully. Thank you!

  • This video was just amazing! Showed the nature of human behaviour and you did a great job dealing with it. Definitely lessons to be learned here. Keep the videos coming!

  • Matt, this video was extremely effective way of learning your main points.
How u broke it down and explained each stage and skills in handling confrontation as well as being the bigger person still, of who you are.
He he ” When emotions are high, intelligence are low.”

Thank you for showing us all this as well as how we can handle it better.
    I appreciate ur time n effort =D

  • I thought this was very helpful to see, in action, how to respond and not react. How you broke it down and explained each aspect….. great! Yes, more please!

  • thanks Mathew Hussey

Thumbs up .You were in control of the battle definitely

I replayed this video sooooooo many times .

    It’s not about Luv
It’s about dealing with such people daily in life .there r sooooo many of them

I definitely need to follow your steps in my surgical career

  • Matthew,
I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and I think this might be the most helpful one so far. It is great to see a play by play on a screen. It helps to make the point much more understandable and memorable. Please, please use this style more often.

It is also great because it’s not just about getting the guy but about acting classy in real life. We need more stuff like this!

  • Bravo!

Excellent play by play of how to deflect a person who is overly emotional and maybe just too frustrated to be productive. Seems she was probably feeling picked on even if that wasn’t the intention.

Great way to remain focused on the goal, give the feedback and keep moving forward. More like this, without a doubt!

  • Very good! Thanks, I learn a lot with those videos and your books. I can not help to think of the other side of it: It must be hard to live your life taking mental notes about everyone about their potential trip over that you can use against them incase they “attack ” you later.
Your self-control, prep and strategy really impress me, I wish I have that skill. But an other part of me wonder when are you yourself? This constant effort to look untouched by people’s BS is a full time job.
When are you yourself, someone hurts by worlds or just not getting what you want sometime, maybe…. What is so wrong to show your emotional struggle?Do you always have t pretend to get what you want or what you want? Staying on your guards all the time is exhausting. More I listen to your amazing work and more i believe your have a hole in your heart. Since you looks happier than the average( and me definitely) I am gong to keep try your techniques. Thanks again.

  • Your choice of how to break this down has made me realise exactly, how i behave when faced with confrontational situations, without any advice or tips from anywhere! just being my natural authentic self, using my belief in acting upon listening to somebody fully, rather than reacting whilst interupting somebody, causing assumptions to what they are saying rather than allowing them to finish completley. For me I’ve learnt this allows me to only say things I truly mean, not begin a personal attack and never say anything that has not been warranted for! I never want to have to say sorry to somebody who is trying to demoralise me or anything I’m passionate for! I believe this has allowed me to always take and stand the higher ground ☺
