There are amazing guys everywhere – literally a BUFFET to choose from.
Women have been ‘making the move’ for centuries, and this is something we seem to have forgotten. In this video I want to remind you of that.
I’ve really tried to be innovative in the way we’ve done the GetTheGuy book.
I see the book as my first opportunity to get everything I have down in a way that’s accessible to everyone. My live events are where this whole thing started, but until now there have been both financial and geographical constraints holding people back from hearing the message we have.
The events are incredible, and if you come to one, results (and a great time!) are guaranteed. They’re where I’ve been able to refine my material, learn in real-time from a live audience, and bring my principles and techniques to a place where people go away and get ground-breaking results.
In finding that there were concepts I wanted to put into the book that were near-impossible to describe in writing, I decided to embed the book with what we’ve called “video alerts” – links throughout the book that you can go to to get videos that explain certain techniques in more detail, or to get a visual demonstration from me on stage.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video has got to be worth a million – especially when talking about subtle nuances such as ‘the look’ (chapter 6), and for people who learn better by seeing something than reading.
The video above is one of 12 such examples I’ve included in the book, and with this post I wanted a give you a further taster of what’s included.
I’ve gone above and beyond with everything I’ve packed into this thing. I’m so proud of the finished product.
I recently heard someone say that the reason people don’t read more is because books are cheap, and they don’t believe that there could be so life-changing material for a mere $15. Hey, so I left a review on Amazon, but I wanted to make sure to tell you.
My dad is a motivational speaker, author, and all that, so growing up I was encouraged to read a lot of books, and of course I heard everything. It was funny, because I could say most of the quotes in your book verbatim.
That’s great! It builds so much credibility in my mind. You have taken principles of success that I already knew and applied them to finding and keeping a guy. To me, that is exactly what women need.
I got your book on Friday and I am already reading it again, and I’ll probably read it a few more times before I get it down and build my confidence enough to actually do half of the things in your book. I’m not nearly there, but, I made eye contact with a cute guy today and smiled at him, and I haven’t done that in a long time. He smiled back :). Funny how such a little thing can build your confidence.

I’ve spent the last 6 hours of my life surfing the posts and all your videos (hope this counts as a huge compliment to your work). I don’t think inspirational defines it, it has been more like a mind-wrecking journey. (Prepare to skip girls, it’s going to be a long comment in here)
The feeling I have right now? If you’re right, I’ve been playing a different game… and as long as everything sounds completely logical, I assume there are many chances that you are. Not different as in football vs. rugby, but as in tennis vs. swimming. There wasn’t even a ball and nobody ever told me! In 31 years! I have mean male friends…
I always found confussing and frustrating all of the popular wisdom old fashioned strategies, I was so bad at them that even as a teenager my friends told me maybe they would not work for me. “Hard to get” is what bothers me the most, because it seems so unnatural to measure time in days when you already got the message. Actually, as embarrassing as it is, I still try to get better at it. Good news I can quit!
The worst part of it is getting to realize that I was blaming myself in the wrong way. It’s this I-suspected-it-but-needed-to-be-told kind of twist.
Right now I have a huge mess inside, as I’ve been doing all the wrong way (and by all I mean ALL OF IT). I think I’ll start with the self-value and increasing posibilities of meeting new men and take it from there. That reminds me… What do you suggest if I don’t have a clue of the kind of man I want? And also… Can you give a few tips on how to say no to nice guys when you know it’s not going to work?

Hi Matthew, I love the advice you give us because you also talk about how to improve ourselves in all domains in life, not just relationships.
I want to talk about an incident that recently occurred because I want to express my feelings about it.
I’m in university and taking hard courses, so I’m not really concerned about being in a relationship, and to be honest, I’m not really good with boys…but one day I meet someone. He was the typical bad boy type that all girls liked. He smoked, he drank, he never opened a book, he was good with girls, and seemed very confident. We soon became close friends. But it finally happened, he got kicked out of university. We meet up again a couple of months later, and I was very surprised by what he told me. He said that he was scared of not being able to make friends, and scared that he might lose them, that he was very concerned with popularity, and that he admired how I didn’t care about boys but was happy.
The lesson I learned? Even the baddest, most confident guy has the biggest insecurities. The guy that you girls might be afraid of walking up to and talking to, is not as threatening as he might appear to be. He’s the same as any other person.

I have tried some of the techniques though, like leaving a paper message or stuff…but it just seems to not work on me. I mean even after approaching some guys I thought was interested (I mean our eyes met for quite a few times, he smiled) they always reject me one way or another. – there was one time I tried to leave a message to a guy in the library and he said he’s actually working…awkward
I’m 21 now and have never had a boyfriend/not even a person to flirt with…it worries me as I’m graduating soon to get a job with crazy hours and little life…as a bit of a workaholic, I might end my life like this.
Would appreciate any advice. I would love to come to one of your events to ask you directly too but I can’t make the time, so…will definitely go in the first possible opportunity
