  • This year has been full of change. I switched out of an engineering major which I loathed, to an anthropology major which I love. I have no idea where my life is going to go anymore, and I’m not sure how I feel about the loss of control. I guess I have to embrace it.

Anyways, I love your videos. They definitely help make be feel like maybe love might believe in me as much as I believe in it. So thanks for that. I’m still pushing on. You’re entertaining as hell too, besides just being helpful. I hope your 2013 is as amazing as you are hoping for.

  • my last three boyfriends were pretty awful (mean), and so i gave up on men. i felt pretty hopeless about them. i decided to just give up on the idea of love and partnership and focus my attention on myself. so for the last eight years i haven’t bothered to get to know or go after any guys. it was easier than i thought it would be because my life filled up with other things…such as going back to school and focusing on the joy of what i want to do. i somehow came across one of your videos and i watched it for your cute accent and face. but you seemed very down-to-earth and smart about relationships too! so i signed up for your free videos, and when i get them in my mailbox i enjoy listening to your perspectives on dating and male psychology. little by little they are giving me hope that one day i’ll be ready to think of men as individuals (not a stereotype of awful) and give somebody a chance. thanks!

  • Hi Matt! I’ve never commented before, but I’ve been following your videos and emails for awhile now, and I just want to say thank you! You have such wonderful insite for woman, and even men! I only wish I could thank you in person for all the helpful advice you’ve given me and so many others :) I have begun seeing such an amazing guy this year, with some helpful wisdom ;) so thank you!

  • Hi Matt, I am really looking forward to your book :-) This year, I invested, and bought the secrets of attraction and the woman’s weekend. I practice a lot but currently for me it hasnt worked to find a right person or really a guy I would date seriously…So maybe I am not doing the right things…Still l will keep listening… I think there is lots of potential in your work and from a psycology side it seems logical and rational. Anyway, Happy Xmas and wish you a good start to 2013 :-)!

  • Hi Matt,

Thank you & your team as always for all what you have done, it certainly makes impact in our lives.

I’ve really lived my life this year and feel that I’m born again. I participated in a lot of different sport activities that I’ve always wanted to do but never did because I always thought I’d to do it together with my guy when I have a boyfriend. But then I realized that I don’t need a man in my life to fulfill my dreams and I can make myself happy before he comes along. So screw the waiting! ;D

    Happy Holidays to All !!

  • Hey,

Well done on an amazing year! Your deserve it :D

My proudest moment for me this year is starting my own theatre company and having 2 sell out shows! I’m living my dream, something i never thought possible at my age (19, 18 when i started). I’ve learnt so much about the theatre industry.
However, one thing ive learnt about me, its ok to be vulnerable. I’ve never had a problem making friends or getting guys. In fact, I’m pretty sociable, but i have a problem trusting people to a certain degree. Only because im scared of who i’ll become. I’ve seen people change for the worse in relationships, i’ve lost some great friends because of relationships. And because of that, I’m scared of opening my heart to people to much in case that i’ll change into a person who i hate or getting hurt (but so is everyone). That’s the reason i haven’t let myself be in a committed relationship in nearly 3 years. Despite all the offers i’ve had from amazing guys. Emotionally i was not ready. However this year i have learnt that being vulnerable can be a beautiful. My best friend/ business partner has shown me that. Its so nice to have someone i can trust 100% again. Now i can be like that with him, maybe i’ll be able to be like that with someone i start to date and fall for them “to love is to be vulnerable”. 2013 is going to be my year! i hope its yours too matt :D
and good luck to all the girls reading this, you all deserve to find real love, never settle for second best! Happy new year

    Love Zara xxx

    1. Hi Zara,

Congratulations on your amazing year! Learning to be vulnerable is a very scary thing for most people but remember, being vulnerable isn’t being weak. All the strength that you had in opening your own company is a very attractive thing, the ability to be vulnerable just adds to it.

  • Hi there Matt,

Thanks a bunch for being *Brilliant* Caring* Creative* Open* & Generous*… & 1 thing I did this year is to allow you to be part of my life, of growth….& I appreciate that.

I’ve learnt several things, so far, but the best thing I’m learning is about *perspective*…& how to be more understanding, to create deeper connection.

I find the interactions I have with guys, now, are impactive in incredibly positive ways. And are more engaging, in meaningful directions….

Matt, thanks for your passion, time, and energy!

Have a Safe, Happy, and Relaxing Xmas,
    Thanks for being Fab*

    Tina :)

  • Hey Matt,

I’ve been following your blog for about a year now, and you give really great advice. One thing I’m proud of this year is that I’ve learned how to connect with people I don’t know that well more easily and confidently, and I’ve also deepened my existing relationships. One thing I’ve learned about myself is that I tend to be on the negative side about things sometimes, and I realize I’m doing it and catch myself and try to stay positive. But this has been a great year for me, full of both good and bad experiences. Thanks for what you do.

    Christine

    1. Hi Christine,

Falling into a negativity habit can be extremely hard to break. You are doing the best thing possible by just changing the behavior each time individually and gradually creating a new habit. Good luck to you and thanks for commenting! x

  • Wow that’s cool, good for you. I try to surround myself with the healthiest men I can as much as possible so I gain that insight as to what your talking about and what that truly means. Thank you!

  • Hi Matt,

I’ve been following your blog for over a year now and I’ve never left a comment…but there’s always a first time for everything.

This year I have learned a lot about starting relationships, being more confident in going out and getting the attention of the men I want in my life…but I have so far been unsuccessful at maintaining a healthy relationship.

Let’s hope I learn that lesson in 2013! XX

  • Hi Matt, congrats on everything:) I’m very proud of myself this year, because after four years of studying for exams, writing papers, and doing my best to keep my grades up, I finally graduated at the top of my calss and got my BA. Also, I got my frist ever job:) and I applied for Master at Concordia University in Canada Montreal, still waiting for an answer, hopefully I’ll get accepted. Fingers crossed!!! One thing that I need to improve is my relationships with others and allowing myself to let loose and have fun once in a while. You see I have always put academics and career first and I don’t give much importance to going out with friends and having fun. I say to myself now is not the time to have fun I have deadlines to meet!! I think I need to relax a bit hehe :) Anywayz wish you all the best and hope next year will be even better than this year :D Take care!!

  • Dear Matthew,
I’m so happy for you that you and your company have experienced amazing growth this past year and have been discovered by so many people that are hungry for all the insights, encouragement and wonderful male perspective that you have given us… I love your videos and blogs and how very down to earth, personable and real you are with us… you deserve all of the amazing things that are happening for you now. Thank you so very much for all that you do and for seeing the need in the world for what you and your company bring to us. I am so looking forward to your show and book coming to us in the next few months. God Bless you Matthew and all the best to you always.

  • Hi Matthew, I just wanted to say thank you! Before I knew about you I always had so many questions about men and the situations I was in. I have been watching your videos, reading your blogs, and emails and applying them to my life. They have helped so much! You saved my relationship! Thank you for being here for all us women :) Have a Merry
    Christmas.

  • Hi, Matthew! Thank you for sharing so many secrets and ways to understand men better – it seems to be so simple and obvious, but you`ve made it so clear and so much easier to bring to life.. Good luck with your upcoming books and please go on :)

  • I can’t believe I haven’t commented on here yet. The thing I am most proud of is making myself go to a taping for a show called Ready for Love this past summer. I have to admit I was not in a very good mood that day but a very well spoken Englishman said something that caught my attention. I had the opportunity to thank him for his words and that’s where everything truly began. I have since sent a brief history of what I can offer but hope I have the chance to show him what I’m made of. I really hope he remembers who I am and realizes I’m very headstrong and very seldom do I give up.
